Building things that actually ship

I'm Yamandeep — a CS undergrad pursuing two degrees simultaneously (B.Tech at UIET MDU and B.Sc. Data Science at IIT Madras) while building production software at IO2i Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd. in Faridabad.

My work sits at the intersection of backend engineering, systems programming, and legal-tech. I'm drawn to problems where the constraints are interesting — multi-tenancy without a shared database, authentication for users who've never created a password, high-throughput async proxies that never touch the data they serve.

I reach for Rust when correctness and performance matter at the frontend layer, and FastAPI when I need async throughput and automatic API documentation on the backend. My projects aren't toy apps — they serve real legal processes for real financial institutions across India.

Currently learning: Leptos fine-grained reactivity, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, and diving deeper into Rust async runtimes.
